Hello, there!
It's been a while since I posted the last Top Ten Tuesday. Okay, in this week topic, I would like to share about Ten Books I Loved More That I Thought I Would. I don't know, but maybe that would be a random list.

Ps. This list would contain many Indonesian books because I am from Indonesia :D I hope that it doesn't mind for you all.

1. Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
Since the first time I knew about this series, I started to like it. I am eager to collect all of the books in the series. Moreover, in Indonesia, that would be some new cover, Oh, no! It would be some temptation for me. Sigh. Oh, by the way, why I really like this series? Because, I couldn't resist any kind of magical world that created by Rowling. It's really as amazing as I imagine.

2. Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Okay. I have to admit that I like Holmes since I red Detective Conan--or Case Closed in some country. I fell in love with the way Holmes conduct his deduction. I think that his thinking is really complicated yet clear. The deduction itself still make me curious and want to know more.

3. Pulang by Leila S. Chudori
Pulang is one of mu favorite Indonesian Historical Fiction novel. It tells about many historic event in Indonesia, such as 1965 tragedy and the collapse of the new order in 1998. I like the way Leila writes her story. It's really look real. Pulang, in my opinion, could force me to think about what kind of history that built by new order government to bury all of the bullshit in the fact.

4. The Bliss Bakery Trilogy
Wow. Bliss is a good middle-grade story and I love it. Even tough I am 20 years old right now, but I still like read some middle-grade story like Bliss. It's really amazing for me. Moreover, Bliss could be very fun and relaxing. Littlewood really did a good job in making this story.

5. Animal Farm by George Orwell
I don't know why, but Orwell's work, in my opinion, is really good satire. He could capture every political allegory in Soviet Union. I think so hard when I red this novel. I means, this novel gave me a lot of moral values. I could learn from Snowball and Boxer. They are really representation of proletariat society.

6. Bumi Series by Tere Liye
Another good fantasy book from Indonesian author. I have to appreciate Tere Liye's works of this. Bumi is a book that make my eyes rolling. Tere Liye's imagination not as conservative as I think. I am really surprised because of that.

7. Supernova Series by Dewi Lestari
Want to learn about metaphysics thing? I think you should read this novel. Dewi Lestari really made a good work. She can relate any of the things that I couldn't think before. In my opinion, she is really genius writer. I hope that there would be a new series from her.

8. Restart by Nina Ardianti
My favorite Indonesian Romance Author! Yeay. Nina could write anything on her own way. She is really good at writing some drama story and I love it. Nina's character still glued in my brain and I couldn't put them off. Restart is her best book until now. Because of Restart, I started to like romance novel.

9. Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander
Lol. I like this magical creature encyclopedia. Of course, Rowling work's just make me curious more about wizarding world.

10. The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani
Another middle-grade novel that really amazing for me. Unfortunately, I only red the volume 1 and 2. Because I haven't red the third one. I just like the way Chainani write it.

I think that's all for this TTT. See yaa in another TTT post :D

Sincerely,

Puji P. Rahayu
