First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines? If you want to make your own post, feel free to use or edit the banner above, and follow the rules below:
- Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page
- Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first
- Finally… reveal the book!
Hello, there!
Yeah, me. Finally, I decided to join another weekly feature for book lovers. I know that not every week I write the weekly feature, but I try to write it down when I can. So, I would like to share this one. I like the concept of this weekly feature.
Unfortunately, not all of my TBR is an English book. Actually, most of them are Indonesian. But, I just want to make fun with this weekly feature. Why not, right?
My First Lines Friday for this week is:
"Enggak gampang jadi manusia,"
Anyone can guess?
So, this firs lines belongs to:
O by Eka Kurniawan

Tentang seekor monyet yang ingin menikah dengan Kaisar Dangdut.
Actually, I just want to know about Eka Kurniawan. So, I started to read this novel. I think it's a good book because Eka want to share anything about adult fable. Nice one in my opinion.
